To celebrate their 20th anniversary Irregular choice have been releasing old 'new' shoes every Friday during the month of may, so far we've seen the likes of Bloxy and Rocko return but the last weeks release always needed to be something extra special and they have not disappointed ladies and gents.

To help you guys know exactly where to be on the day of release i've put together a list of stockists in the UK who will be selling these delights for you to get your mitts on, Please remember that this is an event day so stores will be busy, phone lines will be jammed and the websites may freeze so have your back up plans in place before hand.

Edit: I've edited the stores to include phone numbers for you to check any remaining stock and sizes, a week after the launch 2 of the IC stores still have the most popular sizes in the Unicorns so it's worth calling them as they post out.

Tuesday Shoesday (on a Wednesday) - Mal e Bow

Today we come back to an old favourite, my first 'collection' of my whole collection if you will, Mal e Bow.

With a gorgeous bow on the front and a 9.5cm heel on the back these really do give you that princess feel that we all want from heels, they come in every colour possible and are just so versatile that you can wear them with just about anything.
I fell in love with these so long ago and after hitting 16 pairs of the same shoe started to cut back a little to those i wear the most but i will never lose my love for these shoes.

With this particular coulor way the heel is so sparkly the pictures really do not do it justice, also the bow is such a soft almost satin feel it really does balance the shoes perfectly, the spots are almost reflective so you have to get them in the light to be able to really see them so they are like two shoes in one.

For me this style of shoe is a classic, i will continue to buy various colour ways in this shoe because if the shoe fits you buy it in every colour right? of course there will be people that can't do high heels or don't do bows but if you love both these are a definite winner.

Tuesday Shoesday - Truly Magical

I love a good red shoe, i have lots but these are something 'truly magical' don't be deceived by the heels, they're easy to walk in and just as supportive as a ordinary shoe, those little polka dots set off the already gorgeous bright red and the bows are just the cutest, not oversized and floppy or too small and barely there.

They have a zip at the back to make them super easy to get on and the shoe just holds your foot in place with no problem, the ankle cuff could be a little loose for those of you that don't have chunky calfs like me but it's nice for them to not be too tight.

Like last week these are an older style shoe however they do seem to bring iconic styles back once in a while in different colours and fabrics so fingers crossed for another round of this heel/shoe types.

Summer buys and where you should be shopping

This year i've cleared out my wardrobe, i've sold shoes i didn't wear, i've given to clothes banks and cut right back on my spending but now summer is here and every brand i love has released new styles heres a little low down on where to shop.

Where possible i always try to keep it local and small businesses really need our help right now so unless it's an exclusive i'll hunt for who's selling it and of course wait for a sale, that doesn't always work because if they are big sellers they could sell out in my size but thankfully i don't 'need' anything so if it's still there in a sale great and if not i'm glad they sold at full price for the shops <3

I'll be trying to blog about 2 stores at a time so you can get some good snooping going and this time it's Rockamilly and Vendemia, both stock clothes and the former stocks ICs so keep an eye on these guys if your looking to update your summer wardrobe.

First off we have Rockamilly, the name gives away what kind of style they stock, from bags and brooches to shoes and dresses they really do have it all covered.
They have a good range of products and seem to hold good stock levels, they currently have a steady sale on and i imagine like most other small stores they hold various sales and events throughout the year, they also stock erstwilder and vendula which means they are a good place to follow on facebook and other social media platforms if you're ever in search of something cute and quirky. They offer klarna payments which i think is a get now pay later sort of scheme so if there is something you love but don't have full funds straight away then make use of this option.  They hold a wide range of Irregular Choice, hell bunny and more in sizes 8-22 so something for everyone including Vegan friendly.

Next up is Vendemia, a smaller but jam packed with goodies almost boutique looking store, these guys have every style of dress you can think of, they will measure, make suggestions, send photos, post out, it's like a tailor made personal shopper but online if you aren't local <3 the staff were super helpful when i was hunting a unicorn dress. They don't have an online platform away from facebook but they will answer questions and stock check online and over the phone, again one to watch for sales and new stock arrivals because they do seem to stock everything for a summer wardrobe.

Vendemia will have an ecommerce site open in the next few days.

Tuesday shoesday - Pheonix in red

These are not my shoes, i was super lucky and found someone selling these but in totally the wrong size for me so i quickly shared the sale with someone i knew was looking and they are now winging (pun intended) their way to their new owner.

These shoes are amazing, they are just everything you want from a pair of Irregular Choice, sadly as an older style theyre hard to come by so finding a pair won't be easy but i can see why so many people have fallen in love with these.

The shoe itself is a open toe high rise shoe, very easy to get on with a zip at the heel, then its covered in stunning feather shaped material thats stitched onto the shoe, followed up with actual feather in such a stunning colour, these shoes are something to fall in love with.

The spots make the shoe really stand out in the light and even though these are a high heel the platform makes them so much easier to walk in.

I'll be blogging about the black version in a few weeks and as boring as black sounds these are something to keep an eye out for.

Where have you been?

So i've been off having baby number 3, how about you? Baby is doing well and now he's at an age where i can pinch a little time to blog again, here i am.

In the coming weeks the blog will be taking a slight turn for the different :)
I've always blogged about shoes and that isn't going to change however i will now be blogging more lifestyle related posts also, i've been fortunate to work with some amazing companies over the last few months and along side the usual viewers i have i'm hoping to reach out to other types of people, the posts will be based around family, days out, baby and feeding and also day to day things like the best Groupon deal, what i've planted in my garden, just general getting to know you posts. i never set up my blog to become some well known, freebie getting avenue and don't get me wrong when i get samples and trial products it's awesome but i set this up to share things with my readers so that's what i'll be focusing on, i have 4 post scheduled already and i'm working on two more today so keep your peepers peeled.
