Irregular choice - Heatherette samples

Todays shoe of choice is a sample pair from the Heatherette range that ran in very limited colours/sizes, I managed to get these from eBay and in a size smaller than I usually take but it was worth the risk, they fit and because of the large are wedge quite comfy.

They came strung up in 2 laces each with plastic stars on the end but I found it made the shoes look too busy so I've toned them down to show off the style better, the heel is a type of rubber and scuffs easily but as it's rubber it's easy to scrub clean.

I love that they can be interchanged with the mixed laces and they are sporty looking for easily go with jeans and shorts, i'm hoping to get a lot of wear from them when the sun comes out more.

Bath bomb Wednesday - Cooltide

Another Christmas one but this one was one of my favourites ever from Bomb Cosmetics,
It was a cool smell, like ice and mint and was a really nice change from spice.

The pudding way a hard but breakable type of bomb and the little gold balls were like those edible ones you get on cakes, the bomb was a slow fizzer but it was nearly gone by the time I got in the bath, it was just a white froth but it was absolutely full of little gold stars.

There must of been 200 or more little gold star in this bomb and my bath and skin were covered in them which was a lot of fun but I've been finding them for days since.

I'll be looking out for this bomb again this year and it's in my top 10 for stocking up on.

Irregular Choice - Marble Moose

Between you and me, i'm a sucker for a pair of big eyes, I fell hard for the Lashed trainers in A/W 15 and these were on my want list for quite some time so when a single pair popped up in my size, brand new in box I had to nab them

They are faux pony fur and it's hard not to sit stroking them randomly, between the big eyes and the shocking pink colour they are certainly a talking point and the gold just tops them off perfectly.
They are high but comfortable because of the front platform

I haven't a clue what I will pair them with when I get a chance to wear them but I don't doubt they are highly versatile.

Bath Bomb Wednesday - Oh Christmas Tree

Ok so I know Christmas is long gone but I bought so much during sales that i'm only just making my way through the bulk of it, this week I used a Oh Christmas Tree bomb, the yellow water in picture 1 I from a half crumbled Lush 5 gold rings

Firstly there was a little star on the bomb but it fell off as I unwrapped the bomb, this was a cinnamon and grapefruit scent but it wasn't strong of either, that could be down to age but I don't find Bomb cosmetics heavy on scent in any of their bombs.

It was a quick use, as you can see it didn't give off lots of froth but inside was a heap of glitter and it left the water really sparkly, there was no scent by the end of my bath but I did have lovely green water

I love Bomb Cosmetics bombs as fillers because I can't afford 2/3 bombs per week from Lush and they are great as gifts and for children so I've got a small mountain of them to get through.

Irregular choice - Coral reef

Summer is coming! I promise it's around here somewhere, in the meantime we have all the summer colours to look forward to, I opted for every colour possible with these which means they'll go with so much more in my wardrobe :)
These are high, I won't pretend otherwise but as they are a wedge they are fairly comfy and steady to walk in.

These make me smile to look at them because they are so pretty the only downside is the inner sole, it's a gorgeous, sparkly gold stitching but it's scratchy so i'm debating on unpicking it
They don't come with a cool sole design but i'm ok with that, I have a big love for wedges and the sole is less important the more shoes I hoard.

These will play a big part of my summer staple wardrobe and i'm sure you'll see lots of instagram snaps of them soon, i'm working my way through lots of new shoes and will try to feature at least one pair per week but as character heels are released I'll be videoing them and linking them to my posts so keep a look out.

Bath Bomb Wednesday - 5 gold rings and Cinders

Yes, it's now a thing :)
Every week I use up a new bath bomb and every week I take pictures but they just sit on my phone and no one sees the pretty patterns or hears about how amazing the ingredients were so I've done a block of scheduled bath posts for every Wednesday so keep an eye out for them.
This week i'm kicking things off with 5 gold rings and Cinders

I got hold of both of these during the Christmas sale and i'm finally getting through the stash, 5 gold rings is just that, 5 bubble bar rings on a string, bubble bars can be crumbled under running water, held under water to dissolve or broken up and scattered in the bath and stirred up, I break mine down into crumb and keep them in a jar to scoop into the bath but it's all down to preference.
Cinders is a bath bomb full in cinnamon leaf, sweet orange and almond oil, there is also a little surprise in store for those who don't read the description

I found the gold rings gave a gorgeous glittery froth to the water, it wasn't over kill with bubbles which is how I prefer it and it left my skin coated in oils and goodness before i'd even put the bomb in.

Cinders.....This was the first bomb i'd used and decided not to buy again which is rare for me, it was totally my own fault that I didn't enjoy it and that all comes down to me not reading the label, it contains popping candy and when that pops in places you weren't expecting it's a shock!

It wasn't any amount of colour and I didn't find the cinnamon over powering as I do with other things scented with it but it was a small bomb, the popping candy wasn't really me and I've got others on my list i'd rather buy in future, however others love it and i'm sure kids would find the candy pretty fun.
