Irregular Choice - Miss Thing

I don't often do little heels, in fact of the 90+ pairs i do have i own 2 of this size heel, I often buy shoes on impulse and first impressions but these being a Poetic Licence pair i didn't look for these i just happened to come across them on a site that put both PL and IC on the same page and thought they were really cute, i didn't buy them straight away but for days afterwards i would go online and check my size was still in stock until one night i caved.

I am very clumsy in small heels so straps are very important for me with this style, the insole has a heart pad built in so the ball of your foot is cushioned very nicely, the strap is trimmed in a soft suede so it doesn't rub the skin without socks and they are just so lovely to wear.

They have cute little silky bows on the back and super pretty little pink dots all over, teamed up with the bow on the front these really are sweet in style. My boyfriend doesn't share his views with me on my shoes too often because he doesn't have to wear them, he did however tell me he doesn't like these ones, it actually makes me wear them more, if he doesn't like them that means one more person out there that will love them and because they are like wearing slippers i have no excuse not to wear them as everyday shoes.

The heel height: 6.5cm
The sizing fit: True to size
The width: True if a little narrow

Do you have a pair others don't love like you do? Don't you love how we are all very different in taste and style? leave me a comment below.

Bathbomb Friday - Blackberry Bathbomb

This week i am writing about an old favourite, I'm not sure why i've never blogged about it before but this really is one of those staple bombs that if you go in store you want to stock up on, i love the colour, the scent, just everything about it.

The bomb itself is very plain to look at, a dusty lilac in colour that simply says BOMB on it but the outcome of it hitting the water is just beautiful, I'm not use to bath bombs fizzing, i seem to go for bombs that just melt away into patterns but this one actually made a fizzing noise and gave off lots of bubbles like a bomb from a cartoon dropped in water which was fun.

I don't have a clear photo of it because of the colour of the water afterwards but at the end of the fizzing, bubbling madness in my bath there then was a little note floating in the water that said 'boom boom' which was a very quirky extra that i wasn't expecting the first time i used one of these.

Have you used a bath bomb lately? Do you have a favourite? Let me know by the methods below

Irregular Choice - Mal e Bow

Most people collect something, for me it's a lot of things but as well as lots of shoes i love Mal e Bows in every colour, they were the first shoe i fell in love with and the first one i bought in more than one colour, they make me feel like a princess and come in the more beautiful colours and styles i have a real soft spot for them.

These are from a few seasons back and really caught my eye with the bold and bright heel along side that crazy pattern on the bow, the shoe itself is covered in a glitter sun flower design which in the sun really sparkles, the bow has a pink and lime green aztec style pattern and the heel is in a soft suede which just tops of the eye catching colour combo.

To date i have 16 pairs of this one style, they say if the shoe fits buy it in every colour and i've taken that quite literally but everyone has a limit and i'm now in search of the colours that don't come up in my collection very often, some bright block colours would be lovely but i'll have to live in hope for now.

The Fit: True to size if a little snug at first
The Heel Height: 9.5cm
The Width: True if a little narrow at first

Bath Bomb Friday - Father Christmas

I know it's not Christmas, i've not gone crazy, i have however just found three christmas bath bombs i forgot i had and since it's always nice to relive things you've enjoyed i figured why not!

This one is Father Christmas by Lush

The bomb itself is the face of Santa, it's a slightly pink and white tone and it's one of the bigger bombs i've bought, it's from the same scent range as snow fairy which people go crazy for at Christmas but i've never been a massive fan so this being similar to the shower gel but not as strong is perfect for me.

It's one of those surprising bombs, unlike intergalactic where you can see the rainbow of colours you're likely to see in your bath but with this one you don't really expect to see anything, a little like with butterball you hope for some lovely oils and a nice scent but not much else and you'd be wrong.

From no where the bomb starts swirling around and leaving a green trail which makes sense as the pink i guess should be more red and red and green are Christmas colours, its not a really fast fizz like some of the bombs are but it's a therapeutic spin which is nice to watch.

The green is so much more overpowering than the pink so it turns the water a very vibrant green, there was a good amount of bubbles left over which was nice, i really just had a very enjoyable bath with this one, keep it on your radar for when they are next released because it's a good one to stock up on for yourself and the kids.

Irregular Choice - Squiggly Diggly

Tuesday Shoesday is here, i have finally sorted the scheduler and after missed a week i now have plenty of content to keep us all busy for a while
Today im showing off Squiggly Diggly, quirky in name and just as quirky in real life.

These are one of the most comfortable styles i've owned, i can wear them for hours and barely know i have shoes on, the straps and bows sit snuggly against your foot so there is no rubbing, there is an elasticated side to the inside of the ankle strap which is helpful for getting them on and off.

They are such fun to look at and they draw lots of attention to them, i really enjoy wearing them out as one of my few pairs of open toe shoes and because they contain so many different colours they go with so many things. The straps are a soft suede feel, the bows are a almost sequin effect and the heels are covered in a dyed cotton.

The Heel height: 4.25inches
The Size fit: Normal
The Width: Normal to slightly narrow

Do you have an older style? Are there any styles you'd love to see remade? let me know in the comments or over on instagram @tiffanycallan

Irregular Choice - Barnacle Betty

You know when you want something so bad you're worried that it won't meet expectations when it arrives? Thats how i felt about these, Thankfully i loved them harder than i thought i would when they arrived and it's only grown since.

They have an all over sheen that when it hits the light just shimmers like glitter and amazing decoration that just screams 'Look at me!!' The pearls add to the underwater theme and the sea horse and mermaid are so detailed they pop.

The heels have that gorgeous acrylic almost glass look about them and it really compliments this shoe, they are really beautiful and work well with skinny jeans, dresses and even little socks.

The Sizing fit: True to size
The heel height: 9.5cm
The width: normal

Bath Bomb Friday - On a Sunday

Hi guys, mega apologies, my post didn't seem to post on Friday, i think i need to update the schedule system so instead of the post that was due to go up i figured i'd do a different kind of bath bomb post while i fix the problem.

I have never found a body wash, shower gel or bath creme that leave my skin moisturised and smelling great, most strip the oils from my skin and leave it dry and the scent disappears after an hour so i tried a bath bomb from Lush, it was very plain but it coated my skin in a lovely soft creamy texture, it smelled subtle but lasted and it really did make me feel great, ever since then i have been hooked, so in the last few years my collection has grown and depleted many times over, i often buy in bulk so i don't run out and i never finish one order before i buy the next because new stuff comes out so often, i've tried cheap, expensive, big, small and shaped bombs, i've tried as many colours as are in the rainbow, i've used them for the kids, for myself and even shared with my other half, I have a genuine love for them.Ive bought from shops, i've bought from independants, i've even made my own, I love to see them all grouped together before i pick one, i love to choose one for my next bath, i love to look at new releases and i love to photograph them in all their stages.

Unboxing photos and videos are apparently a thing of the past but the excitement of opening a box of new bath goodies never gets old, the scents that explode out when you first open the box and the colours inside really is worth being woken by the postman for.
I chose to blog about bath bombs because i wanted to show that even the most boring outer bomb could release something really exciting and if i could post how they smell i think it'd be perfect alas i can't but i know buying blind isn't much fun when you just aren't sure what you're getting for you money so i try to help,

This beauty will be on the blog soon so keep your eyes peeled for it in the near future.
How do you buy yours? Do you have a place to recommend? Maybe somewhere you want to try but would rather see a review on it first?
Let me know.

Irregular Choice - Cant Touch This Pink

My review for this week is a pair of my ever growing acrylic heels, I just reached 5 pairs of this style so i must really be loving them right now and i'm sure you can see why.

These shoes have so much to look at and are definite head turners so they are a go to when i'm wearing a very plain outfit like jeans and a Tee or a block colour dress.

The colours on this pair really pop and i love how photogenic they are, often people have to add filters and mess with colours to get the shoes to look as good as in real life but not with these, they look just like this when they are on my feet.

The flowers at first were too much for me, i'm not a massive floral fan but after taking in the whole shoe and seeing them on they actually really work, the little blue flowers are punchy and the multi colours mean these beauties really work well with anything.

Because these shoes have the T bar strap on them they are very comfy, easy to wear and are a go to more often than not, I really wish Irregular Choice would reproduce these in new colours, As i become more selective of what i search for these are up there in various colour ways to add to my collection.

The heel height is: 9.5cm
The sizing fit: True with no extra room
The width: Normal

The heel is a good size for all evening wear, the sizing i found true to size with my size 5 foot but with no room had i of been a 5.5, i found the width normal fit but i have a slight high instep and find the T bar can rub on the top of my foot if my feet are hot and a little swollen, normal for this type of shoe since i don't wear socks with them.

Do you have these in another colour way? Do you find the fit the same? Would you like to see more of this style released? Let me know.

Bath Bomb Friday - Lucky in Love

Welcome to the newly improved Bath Bomb Friday, this will take over from the Wednesday post due to Shoesday Tuesday just being too close to it.
This bomb was from a little supplier called Soaposh by Rebecca

This one was purchased for one of the monsters, it was a easter gift because i knew we'd have more eggs than Tesco so we went with something different. It is a very underestimating bomb, it looks nice enough but not anything special, like it would be good for younger kids due to it's plain nature but WOW was i wrong.

It gave off a gentle bubbling and watching the little hearts roll around was nice but out of no where it erupted into life like someone lit a firework, it really caught me by surprise and it was really exciting.
The scent was very floral, strong and lingered in the air once the bath was drained which was nice,

the overall effect was beautiful, the water was a deep pink by the end of the bomb and the swirls were very pretty to look at, the scent wasn't for me but i'm more of a vanilla kind of girl, it was however perfect for the middle monster and she really loved it.

If you want to order yourself some of these bath bombs head over to facebook: soaposh by Rebecca or google the website for more goodies, let her know you found her via us so we know our posts are working <3

Irregular Choice - I'm Bossy

Today we have one of my favourite and most worn pairs, I hunted for these for a long time and since getting them they make the biggest appearance of all of my shoes, they are everything IC is for me, loud, colourful and such a joy to look at.

These have that statement acrylic heel that is really eye catching, they also have a lovely scattering of bunny beads, along side the miss match material and spotty bow these really are a beautiful pair, they are quite and old style and came in black and red along side this stunning green.

I've decided to start and add a little more info on the shoes i post about because of age they aren't easily found anymore so in order to help those searching i'll be including heel height, sizing and width of the styles from here on in, if there is anything else you would like to know then please comment and i'll happily try and answer.

The heel height is: 9.5cm
The sizing fit: True to size, looser with wear
The width: Normal to wide fitting

I don't post many new styles simply because it's easy enough for you to visit a store or order with returns possible to try out sizing yourself so i try to stick to older styles that aren't so easily sorced, also i prefer many older styles to some of the new stuff which feels a little more mass produced, I will also begin venturing from just IC shoes soon as i narrow my collection down to make room for other things.

Is there a style you love and would like to see more? unsure about sizing on a pair you really want? or just want to see something else? let me know.

Bath Bomb Wednesday - Snow Fairy by Lush

And it's back, every Wednesday i'll be back posting about the latest bath product i've tried out so you guys can see just what they are really like before you part with your hard earned cash, today it's the Snow Fairy bomb from Lush, it's an old one for most of us in the UK but i made a trip to Prague recently and they still stock the more seasonal ones so it's actually a more recently one for me.
This is the slowest fizzing bomb i've used from lush, it was more like a bath melt with a lot of oils, it was so slow infact i had to take it out half way through and use the rest of it in my next bath, it wasn't overly fizzy and left a lot of residue in the bath afterwards.

It started a creamy white cloud with pretty pink lines in it but once it fizzed on one side and flipped over it stayed mostly pink, it released clumps of pink mushy stuff which i'm guessing is oil of some sort, the scent was heavenly, it's a lovely sugary candyfloss type scent and it really does fill the air for hours afterwards.

I wasn't a massive fan of this bath bomb, it just wasn't the glittery fizzy bomb i wanted but it was a gorgeous scent, i have the snow fairy shower gel and i adore it so i think for this scent i'll stick to that and look for a bath bomb that compliments it.

Irregular Choice - Hoppity

Pink bunnies!!!!! Need i carry on?

Well i will just so you can understand the excitement within me for these shoes, They are very pink, they have an acrylic pink bunny for a heel, they have diamonds, they have little gold balls, the have laced patterns, they are epic!

These are last years easter bunnies but i held off buying them because i'd bought 4 pairs that week but i couldn't get them out of my head and as soon as i had the funds i had to buy them, i've been absence from blogging whilst getting use to a whole new life but these had to be the first thing i blogged about when i decided to come back to the blog.

They have this ora about them, they draw you in and just when you think you've seen it all you spot something that you didn't know was there before, these really stand out as one of my loudest pairs and i utterly love them.
