Irregular Choice - Georgia Rose and Sirius

This week the shoes came in twos and they are so beautiful, I've opted to post them together because as shoe shape goes they are quite similar but so different in colour and fitting

Georgia Rose are the older style, they are a bright, sunny bootie, bows and shimmery material means they stand out with any outfit and the beautiful flowers really do give them a bold look, the blue is so easy to match to outfits in most colours and they are just such a pretty shoe to add to the collection

The Sirius boots are just the prettiest things, it's hard to capture their beauty but they have a gold shimmer over the top of the pink which when caught in the light look so sparkly, the blue is laced with a gold trim over the top and the ribbon just set the boot off, they answer the need for boots this season and I can't wait for a bit of sunshine to

The Georgia Rose are a close fit, not tight but compact around the foot but the Sirius are a looser open top fit so they have a little movement in them for socks or insoles.

Lush Easter Haul

It's not often I go into Lush stores and I begrude paying the postage online which is the cost of another bomb but I  made an effort after missing out on some great Kitchen items over the last few weeks, I've been meaning to try some new bombs because after a while the Christmas stock i'm using up can get a little same-y

The bombs are Blackberry (blue) Twilight (pink) and yoga (Orange) along with golden egg and 3 pots and a solid sample of shampoos, I also picked up two bubble bars which are Milky and Comforter and the tiny orange and pink thing is a bath oil which are new to me

Bubble bars work best when swished around in the water and i'd normally hold it until the tap but when they are large and the water gets super hot it isn't ideal so I decided breaking it up ready so I can sprinkle a handful into the bath is much easier, I haven't had chance to use any of the new items yet but i'll include photos of them in use at a later time

Irregular Choice - Bunnie Love

Happy Easter to you all!
I've waited for these shoes to come out for weeks and finally they are here, I absolutely love them and their little ears.
They are a soft touch outer which makes them perfect for stroking, with a gorgeous iridescent panel underneath that is super shiny, my drunk bunnies agree :)

The clear heel is a very popular style and one i'm growing to love, it's very chunky and easy to walk in unlike thinner heels, the shoes don't have a front platform but are fairly comfortable, I find them ever so slightly big fitting so i'll add an insole anyway, sizing down would of make them far too tight.

These shoes will quickly become a pair I reach for quite often, the style suits most outfits from jeans to LBD's and i'm looking forward to more shoes with little ears and fluffy tails

**Don't forget, if a style is current but out of stock online you can always call the stores who are happy to post out as they may have stock**

Mel by Melissa - Pop 2 heart

Sadly not everyday is a heel day, As much as I wish it were I walk a lot and the paths around here aren't great so I started looking into Flat shoes, I adore IC but to save them from having to resoled every few weeks I decided to try a brand which I've seen around recently and I'm so glad I did.

They are a 'melflex' plastic and super malleable so they fit to your foot and there is no rubbing from movement, they have a minute heel that takes the impact of hitting the floor and stops any pain and they go with pretty much everything.

I'm already looking to purchase my second pair, they really are lovely and perfect for days when my feet are recovering from heels or just on sunny days when we're out for long travels.

Mask Genie March Pouch

In a bid to stay healthy this month I opted for a none chocolate based Easter treat, instead choosing to build up my face mask stash and as always I chose SkinILove as my go to place to buy.
This month they included a mask in the shape of an egg so it was perfect.

Due to the increasing in shipping costs they've disclosed the fact that each monthly pouch will now contain between 8-10 masks instead of the usual 10 which is fair, it means no increase in the price and when it's a larger or heavier mask pack it just makes sense.
The pack contained 2x three part masks which are new to me and i'm looking forward to giving them a go.

It also contained a lot of moisturising masks which are perfect for this time of year and they all look great. I'm so impressed I've pre ordered next months pouch as well, i'm looking forward to Sunday evening when I can relax and enjoy a good mask.

Make up Haul

Sometimes I need to add to my very full make up collection and I'm big on high street names rather than expensive brands because I really don't need a 'photo ready' finish when I'm neither famous not a massive selfie taker but that's not to say any cheap brand will do, I only buy what I know works and it's taken me a while to find those.

I love dark lipsticks, I'm a big fan of reds and purples mainly because I'm quite lazy with eye make up and tend to stick to a casual eye liner and mascara for the sake of time keeping so a bold lip is my main feature, both NYX and Soap and Glory are new to my make up lists, I hoard Soap and Glory bath items but the make up is slowly becoming a favourite of mine. NYX has been on my 'to try' list for a while and I'm impressed, both are matt finishes and both give a strong colour.

Make Up Revolution is one of my go to brands for new products, I love their stuff and the price is fantastic, admittedly the pigmentation on shadows isn't the best ever but i'd sooner layer my make up at £1 a pot than buy a £8+ pot that is only slightly better.
I opted for the Brow tint in medium, I've tried pencils that I can't seem to blend and brow mascaras that don't quite fill in so I gave this a go and it's brilliant!
It glides on well, can be buffed out of I put it on too dark and with an angled brush it's not so defined that I look like I drew them with a ruler.

Unicorns unite is one of the newer ranges of lip colour and of course I needed a blue in my life because I don't have one and well....I just do okay.
They aren't really pigmented which I liked because it gives a great coloured sheen without looking like i'm off to a fancy dress party.

Stargazer are one of those really cool companies I forget to order from until i'm broke so this time I ordered from there first, the little flower is a clear ringed toe ring and the yellow keyring is a free torch, super cute.

The glitter is what first drew me to Stargazer, it's always looked so shiny and I'm a sucker for sparkles so I went for an all round holo glitter and a blue, once I've learnt to love them I can start buying the brighter colours but the camera doesn't catch just how amazing the sparkle really is on these.

The lime green eyeliner was a freebie thrown in but I'm sure I'll find a use for it, as for the mascaras I'm determined to make the most of my pre 30's years before my monster starts telling me I'm too old for colour and they are so vibrant they are the perfect way to start.

Irregular Choice - Aaliyah and insoles

Be still my beating heart!
When I saw these shoes I knew I needed them as part of my summer wardrobe, they are green and high and just so me.
The summer collection from Irregular Choice is slowly coming through and I love it all in it's bright, glittery madness.

These are a closed shoe which means they are a little tight on first wear but i'd go with true to size on them because the see through mesh will give with heat and wear, they have a pointed toe and a glitter tongue so they will shape to fit lovely soon enough, it's hard to photographer the shine of the glitter but it's high shine, a green and blue blend that is so pretty that I just kept staring at my feet. Anything with a wedge wins for me and it's a growing trend I can manage all day long.

Insoles - I love Irregular Choice, sometimes so much so that I need to buy harder to find pairs in the next size up just to have them, then insoles are really handy, IC have started doing a range of designs that are all completely Irregular :) they also help my high arches on hard sole shoes which is a bonus.
They are totally inexpensive at £2.99.

Lush Bath - Gold rings and Cinders

I love a good lush bath but I find the reviews without photos are hard to really grasp what i'm getting for my money, Lush is well known for it's animal friendly items but they are also often pricey in comparison to other bath stuffs, if you compare source, quality and time they are 100% worth the cost but as they only currently have 1 sale per year (old Christmas stock usually) people often only buy a few bits at a time.
I'm one of those people, I bulk buy at Christmas and top up on special occasions so I've always got some extra Christmas bits to use up.

I find myself using the items on my weekend bath mostly, I have time to enjoy it and revel in the scents and feelings the items bring, this week I have a stinking cold and can barely smell so I decided to get rid of the strong stuff whilst I can bare it (these were gifts so not something i'd of chosen)
I used 5 gold rings bubble bar and broke off 1 ring for this bath, it gave me enough bubbles for the scent and glitter but not so much I couldn't enjoy the bomb, the scent is vanilla and Tonka, i'm not sure what Tonka is but it smells nice :) they aren't strong bars and don't give millions of bubbles but they are all round nice.

Cinders.....Cinders.....Cinders, I wanted to love the spicy scent but sadly I just don't, it's a heady, cinnamon leaf oil based scent, I decided with a cold and blocked nose now is the time to use it up, what I didn't plan on (Always read the label kids!) was that the one time I get in and then use the bomb it would contain popping candy, exciting times I hear you cry.....No! when those little grains of exploding hard candy get under your legs....bottom and well, you know! let me tell you it was a less than relaxing bath.

It was a slow release and left a cream residue on the top which mixed with the vanilla left my skin really soft and after a while the scent was dulled enough for me to actually enjoy it but sadly the candy had me on edge and it's just not a mix i'll be trying again in a hurry.

Irregular Choice - Misty Reins

When I talk about Irregular Choice to my friends they think of the wacky, out there heels and bright colours so these were a little out of my comfort zone for being 'normal' however I often find myself cursing the damp weather because I can't always wear my lovely shoes but these cover that!

The box is quite a basic one compared to others but who's looking at the box when you're wearing the shoes, the flats have a gorgeous shimmery but not glittery unicorn on the front and a irridecent trim and stars down the sides, they fit snug but I don't suggest sizing up, with a few wears they'll begin to stretch and in the next size up when that happens they'll become to big so I stayed true to size.

These have a gorgeous padded insole so they are super comfy to walk in and i'd say pretty enough not just to wear with jeans, i'm actually looking forward to damper weather now these are here :)
