Shoe Scam Sites

We all hate to be caught out by scammers, be it online or offline, cloning cards and emptying bank accounts has became an ongoing issue that we've had to protect ourselves from since bank accounts came about online now online shopping is so much bigger it's so much more common to be easily led and caught out

Irregular choice along with many other shoe brands are not known for their cheap shoes, quality overrules cheap prices but we all love a bargain, more often than that just finding the shoes we want is a result so when you find the shoes you want AND they're at a bargain price it's all to easy to be led into giving over your card details and getting yourself a much sought after pair of shoes, however so often the saying 'too good to be true' is needed

So to keep you safe online I've included some websites both currently live and previously known as fake sites, feel free to let me know if you come across any others or even have been scammed yourself

Live at the time of posting:

The list above is of sites all currently live, offering shoes and either not sending any shoes at all but gaining your money and details OR sending very cheap none IC shoes, the list below is of sites that have previously been used to do the same but are either now inactive or currently blocked by my service provider so I can't see them

**www.Alibaba.com** this site is NOT a scam site, they do sell items and they do ship goods out, however....they also sell a lot of replica/copy items, I've not seen a legitimate Irregular Choice seller advertise on there but I have seen a lot of copies of Irregular Choice shoes, I don't find with added fees, shipping ect the site to be any cheaper than buying from the UK and I cannot comment on the quality but personally I wouldn't risk it, if the shoes arrived damages or faulty there is little you can do unless you ship them back and then it becomes an even more expensive lesson.

The first thing to look for when trying to see if a website is real is check it's relevance, 'themudshead' has nothing to do with shoes or selling them in the title.
Then check for store details, any real site will provide a business address, even if they don't have a shop they need somewhere to receive returns and register their business.
Lastly, if they don't take paypal think it over! paypal is the quickest, safest way to pay, of course not everyone will take paypal but if they don't have a shop to take telephone orders and don't tick any box from above then please, please give IC a call at their head office and get the business verified before you hit order, you're bargain may end up costing more than it's worth if you don't.

I hope some of the above helps, I've seen an increase in people being caught out and if I can stop it happening to one person than my post has been worth it.
