Hotpoint Digital Kettle

I won a Hotpoint kettle (i know i'm lucky) the same week the lid on our previous kettle broke off and it was the below one.
It comes with whistles and bells and everything, the first button is a 'X' and that's the on and off button, the next one is the temperature control which has 6 settings, then there is a pre boil and a keep warm setting which are great but i pretty much just boil it on the basic settings.
I like the kettle and all it's fanciness but i don't think i'd purposely go looking for an over the top kettle like this unless i drank loose tea or specialist coffee.

Bic 4 colour pens

I recently entered one of Bic's many facebook competitions and won 2x 4 colour ball point pens, they turned up a few days later and this is what they look like :)
The pink one is mine that i bought a few months ago and the pink and blue colours on the bottom are from that but the others are a newer/better version, they write smoothly and don't have the bleed i find with a lot of ball pens, the top one covers everything you could need a pen for, i have a habit of always having the wrong colour pen to hand when it's mandatory you use a certain colour ink, the other is fun for notes and diary stuff and our youngest seemed to want to write more because they were pretty colours.

I'm now on the look out for these in stores as party bag fillers for our little ones up coming party, they'd be great for Christmas too x

Degusta Boxes

Occasionally i get lucky and find a deal worth the money i pay for it and this was one of them, Degusta offer a food box at £10.00 plus delivery which is a great treat but not a luxury i can afford everything month with a wedding and growing little person to pay for but they had a facebook offer on at £4.95 for the box and free delivery which was awesome! so i grabbed it, it arrived about a week after ordering it and looked like this

Inside was:
1x large bag of Maxican Daves Nacho's
2x Schwartz spanish paella shots
2x Schwartz Italian creamy herb tagliatelle shots
2x Moma! porridge pots
1x Tyrells popcorn
3x Shaken udder milkshakes
1x Organico wheat pasta
1x Organico pasta sauce
1x Chocolate Chai
1x Latte tea sample

Also in the box was a voucher for more milkshakes, the porridge went to my dad and the Chai/Latte to my mum but everything else we've enjoyed as a family, the box is worth the £10 the normally ask sadly i'll only purchase it when it's on offer or we are feeling flush but for less than £5 this was a bargain! :) x

Coming soon and weddingness!

I get married this year, i'm hoping it'll be the only time this lifetime so i'm making sure i get the very best out of the day.

Soon i'll be blogging about my make up comparisons as i've been on a big venture finding the perfect stuff for the day, and along with my usual make up posts i'll be covering the underwear available to us brides and where to look, I have my dress but that'll have to wait until after the big day since peepy eyes might come across the post and we wouldn't want that.

I also have reviews on a flat screen tv, top of the range kettle and IPL hair removal machine among other things :)

Aero Bubbly White

This bad boy came into our shop this week and i'm trying realy hard not to buy a whole stash of them, i'm not a fan of the all milk chocolate Aero and the mint ones are ones i have to be in the mood for but this was yummy, it was light, fluffy and tasted so lovely without being overly sickly.

I felt the product was a little misrepresented in the packaging as i expected a full white bar not white bubbles in milk chocolate, I'm not sure if that's me being a little slow or if it's just not worded well enough for me to realize it would be milk chocolate

The bar was it's usual crumbliness, it wasn't a heavy and helped subside my usual sweet tooth craving after dinner, it's a shame it's a Limited Edition as i could grow to enjoy one of these once a week as my diet day off treat.

It breaks into sharable squares, not that i shared any of mine but i suggest giving it a try, it wasn't a heavy white chocolate taste but enough to enjoy the difference in tastes.

Taste: 8/10
Price: 7/10
Packaging: 6/10

This weeks use ups

I've had a productive week so far, i've managed not to buy any products so far and i've used up quite a few sample sachets.
I've got no pictures this week as it's late and my camera's on charge but i'm hoping to get some non-make up reviews done this week so wanted to get this post done.

U by Ungaro shower gel, i loved this when i first bought it but after having it for 2 years i'm glad to see the back of it, it now smells musky and too intense for a light shower, i won't be buying it again.

Anew Reversalist cleanser, another one of those products i've finally got around to using, it gave me a great deep clean but it needed a lot of water to get it to lather and even more to get it off so over spring/summer i'll stick to a littler foam.

Avon Naturals body lotions in sugar plum and vanilla, yum! i got this at christmas and have been using it during my relaxing days, it fills the room with a gorgeous scent and last for ages, sadly it is quite pricey so i won't be buying it.

Molton Brown Rhubarb and rose hand cream, this came in one of my beauty boxes last month and i've just fninshed it, it smells great and i enjoyed putting it on but it felt like it didn't quite nourish my skin and then felt greasy so it's not on my 'to buy' list.

No7 cleansing routine

I've been on a mission over the last month to find products suitable for my skin to get it clean and fresh looking for my wedding day in 7 months.
I have a very oily Tzone, overly dry cheek bones and a lot of congested pores/breakouts due to using the wrong products and over winter and with a late night sleep routine i dislike getting cold and washing my face so i use face wipes and cotton wool balls which isn't good.
Last month i used 3 products that i've been storing for a few months, all by No7.
A No7 Age defence cleansing balm
A No7 Protect and perfect day cream
A No7 Protect and perfect night cream
I started with the day and night cream to make sure they didn't upset my skin, the day cream wasn't greasy and i found a little went a long way, it acted as a great base for my primer and it soaked up into my dry skin really quickly.
The night cream was quite thick and by the morning my skin was soft and supple, i'd buy these again without a doubt but i have quite a few to get through before i buy anymore.
The wash was a little different to what i'm use to, it went on like a face cream, didn't lather and rubs in smoothly, then i wiped it off with a wash cloth and within a week i noticed i had less clogged pores, my dry patches are nearly gone and my oil levels aren't as bad as they were.

I'd rate them all the same
9/10

Pros:
They did what i needed from them all
They were very moisturizing

Cons:
They are a little pricey
