7 Days of Irregular Choice #Day3

Excuse the double post but for some reason my post timer isn't playing fair.

Todays shoes are of a time gone by, everything photographed below is from before 2013 or before.
From Krystal star to Teacups my collection of 2011/2012 are quite dark, I don't have many black shoes and those I do are older styles but even in black they all carry a charm about them that an ordinary black shoe just doesn't.

Sometime these little beauties pop up for sale on bidding sites and can be snapped up but for the most part they are little sought after gems that are easier found on search engines.

IC are not known for their stiletto style heel and throughout 2012 they offered very unusual shapes and angles of heel, the Teacups and Krystal star carrying a high instep style heel,

7 Days of Irregular Choice #Day2

Me again :) I have more IC for you today, a whole bunch of trainers, no one can wear heels forever and I adore the ICED range that IC do, from the Lashed boots to the flat Petras, they all have a quirk like no other shoe and are really comfy to wear all day.

Irregular choice are loud, in your face, notice me kind of shoes but they also have hidden gems, for instance the Lashed come with a side pocket that actually works, the petra are slip ons that look like lace ups and the Bow ta Fly have a zip for ease.

The fabrics are colour intense! they have cute stitches on and i'll be adding to my collection as and when I can, they are my go to flats now instead of my plain trainers, fingers crossed my next pair will flash too.
The range is large but limited, you really must be quick because they sell out so fast in all colours.

7 Days of Irregular Choice #Day1

We all have that something that we love so much we want it in every way, be it a lipstick in every colour or a dress in every pattern, mine are Mal e Bows, courtesy of Irregular Choice these gorgeous, girly, often glittery shoes are most girls dream, they have bows, they have sparkles and they make you feel great wearing them.

Never one to turn away a reason to hoard I quickly found Mal e Bows to be my favourite from the Irregular choice mutiny range because they are a classic heel, my ideal go to style and height for almost any occasion and coming in most colours means I can match them to any outfit.
They really do make me feel like a lady when I wear them and while ever IC continue to make new styles of this shoe I will continue to buy them.

Over the next 7 days I will be posting different styles of Irregular choice shoes, mainly in bulk photos because otherwise we'd be hitting 60 single posts to cover each shoe *I own the fact I hoard*
If there is a style you're interested in or would like to see more photos off just let me know, even if I don't plan to blog about that one on it's own I'm always happy to take extra snaps.

New year New nails

January I spent it mostly eating up the last of the chocolates and biscuits, picking up Christmas tags and finally sorting out a mountain of old toys and ironing.
Now we are in February it's time to get back to real life and find that routine we all lost over Xmas and my birthday mid Jan so i'm a month behind everyone else.
So we'll kick this month off with getting rid of the festive colours and bringing back some bright colour to get us through the cold.
My order from Models Own came and I loved everything as soon as I opened it, the colours are so vibrant and shiny.
I took advantage of the £2.50 each offer before Christmas and grabbed the 6 from my top must have list, Left to right:
Colour Chrome - Red
Colour Chrome - Turquoise
Wonderland - Jack Frost
Beetlejuice - Indian ocean
Colour Chrome - Gold
Colour Chrome - Cerise
Sadly my Jack frost from the wonderland collection was broken like a silly delivery man had dropped it hard but the customer services were awesome!! they got another out to me super quick and it was perfect.

These colours are so rich and the chromes really are chrome so i'll be getting lots of use out of them all year round and i'll be keeping an eye out for the next sale to add to my collection.

Black Friday and where i'll be shopping

Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing day sales...it's all offers, savings and money off at the minute but who are actually worth looking at?

Personally I will only be buying things I would normally of looked for but possible a week or two early for a saving, I don't buy into the WAS £900 now £150 tv that I really don't need.

First up....http://www.choosemad.com/ these guys stock mostly silver jewellery and I only wear silver jewellery, I find the perfect gifts with these guys, cute little studs, sparkly bangles and oh so cute pendants but most of all ALL profits got to charity, you are able to select which charity the profits go to aswell which is a lovely touch, Friday the 27th brings 50% off everything, I would already be shopping here before Xmas so this is an added bonus for me :) Don't forget to use the code 'MADGOESMAD'

Next we have shoes, now I like a deal as much as the next person but I also love smaller shops not run by Mr Rich with his 2 super cars and a boat on hand so I try when possible to buy from non chain stores and since I have a huge love for shoes i'll be checking out http://www.eshoesdirect.co.uk/
The store offer a wide range of shoes that are all super gorgeous but also it's run by a really lovely lady who has great taste in stock, along with some lovely Ruby Shoo which gentlemen! hint hint are a perfect Christmas gift but I also hear from a little bird that they will be having a mix % off their Irregular choice and the rest of their lovely shoes tomorrow and as a IC collector I will most certainly be checking them out tomorrow.

Lastly i'll be getting straight online to www.modelsownit.com which sell the most beautiful colours of nail polish ever!, if you want glitter, they have it, if you want two tone, they have it, if you want Bright and bold, they have it! It is the perfect and although each bottle is inexpensive at just £4.99 for Black Friday they have a 50% off sale on tomorrow which makes it 2 for 1 :D perfect for a last minute Christmas colour purchase to match the planned outfit.

I hope you all enjoy the savings to be had tomorrow <3 TJ x

The Soap & Glory Post

I have an addiction, it's called Soap & Glory and I am not ashamed <3
There are few things in life that make me happier than my bath and beauty items, so I wanted to share them with you.

It all started a few years back when my now mother in law bought me a gorgeous gift set for Christmas and I've been hooked ever since, I go crazy when there are 3 for 2 offers on or a new scent comes out and I'm signed up to any info I can get my hands on like the Facebook page and newsletter.

I'd like to start with the bulk of my collection, mainly big tubs and bottles which are perfect for pampering and not worrying you've over done it on scents.

I won't give you a list of everything but I've sorted them into smaller sections for ease, I also feel the need to have two of everything, sometimes gift sets mean I end up with more though.

Below are my Body washes, body butters, bodyscrubs and body lotions and one bath foam :) these are my go to for a quick pick me up they come in scents like lime, orange or oatmeal, all of which smell amazing and the scent lasts which is rare in washes, I find once i'm dry normally I can't smell anything at all on my skin with other washes. These are inexpensive and a great gift for anyone.

Next are mainly my hands and feet, I live for these, the foot genius is the best foot cream I've ever used and since my mum is a QVC junkie I've tried a lot of them, the hand dream is a step up and above the hand food, I only have two sadness's about S&G the longevity of the hand food and the longevity of the righteous butter, everything else is perfect!

These next ones are my face bits, they also include the only makeup I own by S&G bar mascara and plumping lipgloss, peaches and clean is fab and glow lotion is a go to highlighter in the summer for me.

The scents <3 Oh the scents! I fall in love deeper and deeper every time I wear them, the sugar crush is perfect for everyday wear and the mist you madly is a gorgeous, dreamy evening scent, I don't have them all but I plan to ask santa to sort that.

Mini's, I adore mini's, they are perfect for swimming pool showers, handbags, travel luggage and computer draws, also because of my problem with making hand food last as long as it takes me to use one it they are more convenient :)

The rest of my minis, sometimes I don't have room in my bag to carry a large tub of body butter, so  I need these :D all of them!

So there you have it, my collection of soap and glory and don't worry about it going off before I use it, I took these photos 4 days ago and I've used up 3 items from here already that I'll replace on my next Boots trip.

I haven't counted them but i'm guessing I have close to 100 or more items, I don't really use anything else except for my hair but that's only because the shampoo by Soap & Glory is so good at cleaning it removes my semi permanent hair colours a little too well but I do use it when i'm back to my natural colour :)

Don't forget over Christmas S&G sell some wonderful gift boxes and the heavily sought after Christmas box normally holding around £75 worth of stuff for around £35 but that's a limited edition and they sell super quick so be ready when they come out, perfect for anyone that likes to pamper <3

Use Ups for August and Septemeber

Quite possibly my longest 'Use Up' Post as it spans over 2 months, it's been a busy few weeks and I really haven't had any time online bar checking a few emails but i'm back :)
Timotei 'Pirate des Oceans' was a sample I was sent via a questionnaire website, it's a watermelon shampoo and its...terrible, unless you are trying to strip your hair of all the colour, oils and softness, then it's perfect but I really didn't like it for mine or little monsters hair.

Teddy soap...sadly it's an old soap we've never got around to using and as much as I hate waste I don't think it's worth risking on anyone's skin.

Ted baker Bath foam, i'm not taken to be honest, it's a strong scent of rose and I found it quite drying, I have some other bits from the range but I won't be repurchasing.

Shear Force by Allen edwards, my mum bought a set from a teleshopping channel and ended up not using it so I got it, I didn't feel it helped my hair at all, it's said to give texture, density and lift but it didn't give me another my other conditioners already do.

Garnier Olia conditioner, I love hair dye conditioners, I use them as intense hair masks and leave them on whilst I bathe, gorgeous and this was just as good as any.

Insta Natural stretch mark and scar cream, this stuff is fab, I've noticed the more I work out the bigger my thights get and I've been getting purple stretch marks but this stuff has been a big help in reducing the colour and size of them.

James Brown High gloss conditioner, I had really high hopes for this stuff but it was naff!! :( I made my hair really dry and didn't offer any shine at all, I found my hair got greasy quicker after us and I struggled to get moisture back into it.

It's hard not to love Original Source and the body scrub range is wonderful, I could eat the shower gel if It didn't taste so soapy and this is a winner in our house.

Yankee world Journeys...binned! I bought Australian Oasis and South African vineyard and never again will I trust my nose, when lit these both smelled like burnt wine and I really didn't like them.

Dove essential oils bath, this stuff was really nice, I normally go for bubble bath but this was really smoothing on the skin and calmed my dry patches, i'll keep an eye out for more alternatives.

Olivia shower gel, this was one of those sample, take on holiday bottles, it was made from olive oil and 'stuff' and was nice enough but it's gone now and we should all move on :)

Gardenia red rose and magnolia, this is one of those bottles that just lasts and lasts and even after i'd used it up I reused the bottle for more creams and lotions, I used this more for my feet at night and it left them lovely and soft.

The Garnier wrinkle reader challenge, I have fine lines, anyone over the age of 25 does sadly, however after day 5 of using this I had an allergic relation to it and stopped, it might be great for some but it's not for me and my fussy skin.

Serenity dead sea bath salt, these were lovely and i'll be looking out for them again.

Original Source hair and body, my husband used this and it smelled amazing, it says lemon and chilli and i'll certainly be buying this again, I might even get to use some myself.

Garnier amber solaire after sun, this stuff is fab, I recently got sunburn whilst abroad and my lord this was a life saver, cooling, spray on so no need to touch the skin, just fab!

I've been getting a monthly pouch of facemasks so there will be a few popping up over the next few posts.

Beyond the real was a green tree mask sheet and it wasn't the best, it was sticky, didn't rub in well and was so wet it kept slipping.

The qure maskpack was a better one, after 20-25 minutes it dried and there was only a little mixture left to rub in, it made my skin really soft.

Dessole body milk, another one of those freebies you use up and forget about, I really should cut back on what I except in my stash.

Imperial leather oriental calm shower cream, I love all things IL and this is a favourite, it's flowery and creamy and i'll keep buying it for my stash.

Hawaiian tropic silk hydration, I was sent these as samples however since then I've read reports that they do not offer the full SPF stated after testing so I've been using them up as a basic everyday suncream on days when it isn't overly sunny.

Loreal DE-LAQ make up remover, this is a great make up remover, it shifts stubburn eye liner, hard mascara and ever stubborn last all night lipsticks, it's not long ran out and I have a few others to try but i'll be certain to give Loreal another go.

White scents, more free stuff...yawn! except this was white tea and jasmine and it smelled amazing, I need to broaden my scent range and i'll be on the look out for white tea in other things.

Radox lemon and tea tree, the bottle is a pain to open and squeeze when you hands are slippy, when Original source is on offer I think i'd sooner stick with that, the lemon was much stronger but it didn't last.

Aussie Frizz miracle, I don't find this makes my hair any less frizzy but I don't think anything can help that, I do love the moisture it puts back into my hair though and i'll certainly buy it when I've used up my others.

The first of the above bottles is a bath milk from Boots sent to trial which was lovely but I have no details to share sadly.

The second was a cleansing oil and it was amazing, it really cleaned my skin up but again they don't share details.

The essence of ?? tea if a really old shower gel that's been sat in my mums bathroom as an ornament for years, little does my mum know I daren't use it in case it takes off the top layer of my skin :/ it's not safe to try after all that time so it's going in the bin.

Advance Techniques is another shampoo I use a lot of as it's cheap and I use so much but sadly my mum doesn't work for Avon any more so I may need to find another cheap and cheerful shampoo.

Trevor Sorbie straight conditioner, this was a nice conditioner but sadly it's not big enough to be a repurchase for me.

Palmolive naturals was just a 'daughter won at the fair and I used it up' however it was really creamy and smelled lovely, I wouldn't mind using it again.

Masque argile - Clay Mask, this is by far one of the best masks I've ever used, it's a thick clay mask that spreads on and washes off and it leaves your skin soft.

NSPA is a brand I've seen in Asda however they never have a great deal of stock but this was in a beauty box, it was a peeling mask but I found it never dried so I had to wash It off, it wasn't anything special so I won't buy more.

Revitalizing essence facial mask was messy, it was fun and smelled great but I didn't come out in blemishes afterwards.

Greentea seed, this was a lovely refreshing mask, it made my skin feel awake and was quite cooling, i'm learning all sorts of ways tea can be used.

Skinpep, this one is not for me, it's a enzyme and acid peel and it burnt, not like 3rd degree burns but it was so warm I had to wash it off and my face tingled afterwards.

Soap and Glory make yourself youthful, it's actually a serum but too much rubbing makes it bitty so I washed it off, it felt great, smelled great and left my skin so soft, i'll be looking out for this in the offers over Christmas.

Primera peeling - broccoli sprout, this was a little like putting water on my face, or eating cabbage...either way it felt a little pointless :(

La Roche Posay Effaclar duo, this anti imperfection corrective cream is the best! it's so good and getting rid of blotchy, red or dry patches <3

Eye perfect eyeliner by ideal beauty products, it barely took on the skin and when it did any more than 1 line draw would remove and previous liner, rubbish, in the bin it goes.

The gold liner is a loreal one but I can't see a name on it, too much use has worn it off, it's a flexible wand that draws on the liner and it's fab, it was a black glitter colour and it's been used to death, I have two more on the go :)

Avon super extend extreme, its great when it goes on and holds really well however I struggled to remove it and it took a lot of lashes with it, very fibery

Maybelline dream pure BB, I love it so much I've bought a full size, it gives a full coverage without being heavy.

Nivea Men 48h, I sweat, we all do but 2-3 days a week I walk 2+ miles and I was fast so I sweat more, this stops me sweating more than is acceptable in pretty dresses and it lasts, I bought 5 from Tesco at 50p each.

Murad pomegranate mask, this was very sticky and didn't seem to do much, I won't repurchase.

Aveda exfoliating shampoo, sadly there wasn't enough of this to wash my fringe with let alone the rest of my head so I can't give an opinion on it.

Garnier Ultimate blends serum, lovely smell but really greasy, serum should be but this didn't seem to sink into my hair, i'm trying another version currently.

That's it....i'll be much more regular with posts between now and Christmas and i'll be posting regular updates on freebies and giveaways for the run up to Xmas
